Description of User Categories and Fee Structure

Equipment User Fees are scaled incrementally according to the following User Structure:
  1. Affiliated User: This is a University of Houston Faculty member who pays the annual laboratory fee of $500. This laboratory fee allows the use of all General Laboratory Core Equipment at no additional cost.
  1. Internal User: Any University of Houston Faculty not paying the annual laboratory fee who has been granted access to the BMERCL to use the available equipment by paying its associated cost.
  1. External Academic/non-profit: Any User from another Academic or Non-Profit Institution.
  1. External: Any other type of User not defined above.
