In order to schedule usage time or check availability of any BMERCL Instrument you will need to have a VNet account:- If you do not already have a VNet account, you can request a new account at http://vnet.uh.edu
- Log on to yourVNet account:
- Select VReservation (My Reservations).
- Under Reserve Now, select "Equipment".
- All the equipment available in the Biomedical Engineering Core Facility is listed under Type: BMERCL Equipment.
- Select the Date and Time you wish to reserve the equipment.
- Click Search. --- A list with all available BMERCL Equipment should appear.
- You may select Show Calendar for a given instrument to see available times.
- If you decide that you need to reserve the instrument for a different time/date, you will need to click search again to refresh the screen before clicking on Reserve.
- Double check the information on the Reservation Details screeen before clicking Confirm.
- Double check the equipment calendar to make sure that you have the time slot reserved.
Scheduling and/or cancellation must be done with a minimum of 24hrs. If you have any problems with the equipment reservation, please contact the VNet support. You can always check with bmercl@uh.edu to make sure your request was received.
If you schedule time for an instrument and fail to use it, you will still be charged for the scheduled time. Make sure to cancel your reservation if you do not need the instrument or cannot make the time.
