The Thermo Shandon Cryotome SME is a motorized electronic cryotome designed for cutting frozen sections from fixed and unfixed specimens.
- Specimen temperature on the Specimen Head is controlled
- Sectioning can be manual or motorized
- Electronic control of Advance and Rewind functions
* Users must provide their own disposable blades (e.g., Shandon MX35 Premier Microtome Blade), cryocassettes (various diameters – 10mm, 25mm, 35mm, and 45mm), and mounting media.
